Overview

RARA LAKE: Rara Lake lies at an altitude of 2990 metres above sea level. Rara is the biggest and deepest freshwater lake in Nepal and is located in the Jumla & Mugu district. Rara Lake is 2.7 km wide and 5.1 km long .Rara Lake has a maximum depth of 167m. Rara Lake is surrounded by Rara National Park which is very famous for birdwatchers where we can find 214 species of birds. Rara is heaven on earth . “If you do not reach Rara then you will not reach heaven” is a famous saying among Nepali People and day by day, the number of Nepali visitors increases.

BARDIA NATIONAL PARK: In Far Western Nepal lies Bardia, the largest of the jungle national parks in Nepal, located in the Terai Region. This park is home to a variety of endangered species including the Royal Bengal Tiger , the One-horned Rhinoceros, the Asiatic Elephant , Leopard  and much more. If you have a dream to see the Royal Bengal tiger then this is the perfect National Park in Nepal to visit.

POKHARA:Pokhara is located in the mid western Nepal and the centre of adventure in Nepal, is an enchanting city nestled in a tranquil valley. Due to its stunningly beautiful natural setting and the suitable base for trekking in the Annapurna region, Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal after Kathmandu. It is the starting point for many of Nepal’s most popular trekking and rafting destinations. The majority of the people of Pokhara are Brahmins and Chettris from Kathmandu and Tibetan settlers.

Itinerary

Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport meets by our representative, then transfer to Hotel, check in Hotel rest, and overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.

Morning breakfast at hotel then drive to (205KM - 6 Hour Drive) Pokhara, (Pokhara is located in the mid western Nepal and the centre of adventure in Nepal, is an enchanting city nestled in a tranquil valley. Due to its stunningly beautiful natural setting and the suitable base for trekking in the Annapurna region, Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal after Kathmandu. It is the starting point for many of Nepal’s most popular trekking and rafting destinations. The majority of the people of Pokhara are Brahmins and Chettris from Kathmandu and Tibetan settlers). Afternoon Lunch on the way at Chinese Restaurant in Kurintar, then continue drive to Pokhara, Late afternoon arrive check in hotel rest, Noon after Lunch one hour Boating on Fewa Lake with Visit Barahi Temple, free time in lake side, evening dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 :
POKHARA

Early morning Sunrise & Mountain View with Annapurna Ranges including fishtail mountain, Dhaula Giri Mountain and other mountain, back to hotel on the way visit Bindabasini Temple (The Indian Tenple), breakfast at hotel then sightseeing tour to Tibetan Refugee Camp, Gupteshwor Cave & Devi’s fall. Noon Lunch at Hotel then visit the world peace temple on the top of the hill. Free time for rest, evening dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Today Morning after breakfast drive to Pokhara Domestic Airport fly to Nepalgunj arrive, Lunch at Nepalgunj, then we will drive towards Siddhartha Hotel ( 110KM - 4 Hrs Drive from Nepalgunj) evening dinner and overnight stay at hotel Siddhartha.

Early Morning after breakfast, drive towards Nagma (Kalikot) which is 210 KM its take 7/8 hour drive, rich to Kalikot, evening dinner and overnight stay at Local Hotel in Kalikot.

Early Morning after breakfast, drive towards Rara Lake and road starts rough non paved till Rara Lake. Now you will be travelling by the age of Karnali river for 4 hrs and than through the village and Sallaha forest. After 20 min drive from Talcha Airport one small cottage can be see where you need to park your vehicle and walk for 30 min to reach lake. For seeing lake this is enough but if you want to stay in the bank of lake and enjoy the spectacular view of lake than you need to walk approx 1.5 hrs by the edge of lake and you will reach the hotel which lies in the bank of Lake. You also have option to fix tent at the bank of Lake.

Early morning breakfast and taking boat to explore the lake is a wise idea. It cost Rs 1000 per person for the long distance sightseeing by boat. In the day time you can hike upto the hill where you can see the best view of the lake. Hiking to Murma top is excellent experience to view Rara Lake, Mountains and sorrounding hills of far western Nepal. On you’re on the way back, visit Murma village. Only one typical local village nearby the Lake. And overnight stay in Rara.

Early Morning enjoy the breakfast, then walk 2 hour to Nearby Airport (Talcha Airport) take flight to Nepalgunj, arrive then drive to Bardia National Park, (2 hours drive) Arrive check in hotel, rest after lunch discover Tharu life and culture with a guided walk from the lodge through neighboring villages and farmland, Evening dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Bardia.

Morning enjoy the breakfast, Full Day Jungle Walk. An excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, including small mammals, and birds. We will also wait in a tower (Machan) for inobtrusive wild sightseeing, accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wildlife tracker. Half Day Tiger Tracking & Birdwatching. An excellent opportunity to see a Royal Bengal Tiger and a great many species of birds found in Bardia National Park. Packed lunch will be provided. Excellent photographic opportunities are plentiful. Evening Cultural show and Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Bardia.

Morning after breakfast drive to Nepalgunj and take flight to Kathmandu, arrive then drive to Bhaktapur, Lunch in Bhaktapur after lunch visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square and around, after Lunch Drive to beautiful Greenhill station Nagarkot. (Nagarkot is a village located about 25 miles east of Kathmandu, Nepal. It is located on the northeastern rim of the Kathmandu Valley at an elevation close to 6,800 feet above sea level. It is one of the most scenic spots in the region, renowned for its sunrise and sunset views of the Himalayas. You can pick Mount Everest out with its snow-topped peaks on a clear day as there is an observation tower at the very top of the village’s hills. Nagarkot, historically, used to serve as the summer retreat for the royal family and many other aristocrats from Kathmandu). While the town offers great views of the mountains, there are few monasteries or temples. Evening sunset view, dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.

Early morning Sunrise and Mountain View from Hotel, then after breakfast at Hotel, drive back to Kathmandu via Patan, visit Patan Durbar Square, Krishna Mandir Mahabihar Golden Gate Temple, and noon after Lunch visit Soyambhunath Temple is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. It is also known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in the north-west parts of the temple. The Swayambhunath complex consists of a stupa, a variety of shrines and temples, some dating back to the Licchavi period. A Tibetan monastery, museum and library are more recent additions. The stupa has Buddha's eyes and eyebrows painted on. Between them, the number one (in Devanagari script) is painted in the fashion of a nose. And Kathmandu Durbar Square, Kathmandu’s Durbar Square is the site of the Hanuman Dhoka Palace Complex, which was the royal Nepalese residence until the 19th century and where important ceremonies, such as the coronation of the Nepalese monarch, still take place today. Time and again the temples and the palaces in the square have gone through reconstruction after being damaged by natural causes or neglect. Presently there are less than ten quadrangles in the square. The temples are being preserved as national heritage sites and the palace is being used as a museum. Only a few parts of the palace are open for visitors and the Taleju temples are only open for people of Hindu and Buddhist faiths. At the southern end of Durbar Square is one of the most curious attractions in Nepal, the Kumari Chowk. This gilded cage contains the Raj Kumari, a girl chosen through an ancient and mystical selection process to become the human incarnation of the Hindu mother goddess, Durga. She is worshiped during religious festivals and makes public appearances at other times for a fee paid to her guards, then free time for Shopping in Thamel Area, evening Enjoy the Nepali Traditional Meal with Nepali folk Music Live Cultural Show, and overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.
